DIARY IN REVERSE

So, we are almost finished with all the major and minor details of the Release and Book Signing Event for "Diary In Reverse", written by yours truly. The event is private but I can tell you that it is next week and there will be live footage! Whew...I can exhale now. Myself and Exquisitely Chic Events have been working extremely hard to pull this event off and I know it will be BANANAS.

I am working on two novels right now, one co-authored and the other is all me, fiction! It is going to be great I promise you. Do not hold your breath for the fiction novel as most of you may be aware the turnaround time for those things take ages. In about a year and a half we probably will be ready to launch. I have a good, wait, GREAT feeling about these novels. Heck we may get to Oprah with these guys lol...

Edits...

This week so far and last week have been crazy! I have been working hard to get "PoeTically SpeaKing" revised and re-published...started some new projects...and I am still concluding a rather large project at work..Geesh it is tiring but someone has to do it.

I am very happy about the Release & Launch Party in September....Exquisitely Chic is doing a great job with that!

I am ready for the Mini Vac....If you don't know what that is you will...Stay tuned...I can guarantee it that it is sheer comedy...Take my word.

Other than that I am extremely blessed and can not ask God for more favor...

Just a Preview...

So I can not remember a time when my hand did not clasp a pen or pencil....

I have had several journals and each page captured a different moment, a different feeling, a different time... Good times, bad times, sad times; all of which I wanted to remember. You never want to forget those emotions that hurt you, so you will not allow yourself to experience them again. You never want to loose sight of those things that worked for you, so you can recall on them to win.

For as long as I can remember, my heart has been written....I know no other way.

What is it that you love? What is your passion? Your dream....Do you wake up out of your sleep and think of it?

Whatever it is, if it has you like that, you should take hold of it. Fight for it. I was not always understood but whenever I wasn't I would write about it. And there I found peace; and my serenity will forever lie in it...the pages.

This week has been a good week. I have been encompassed by a great amount of peace. It feels wonderful. And you do not have to be married, successful or wealthy to be happy. Happiness comes from within...if emerges when you are at peace with yourself. No facade, just real. And you can really enjoy it when you find the positive in each moment, each downfall, each trial, etc. Nothing is ever perfect, but when you acknowledge the lesson in it, you can use it; re-direct your focus.

I am determined to do me, make me happy buy seeking my dreams....And they do not come from nothing. You have to give more than 50 percent; and I guarantee you it can be done.

Once you are sought....you will know your fight was won!

The Possibilities....

There is always so much to look forward to...so much to hope for, but only if you truly want more.

I know I do. Life is to full of possibilities to sleep on them. I will not let them pass me by. As we embark on this journey, I myself, the event planner, the fashion designer, the editor and chief, we will experience some things that we could have only hoped for as children. Not knowing the full extent of the possibilities.

I am labeled the one who is always "ready for whatever"! You have to be. Life is what you make it and I keep my agenda full and the possibilities endless. Never let someone tell you what you can not do. Those who try and limit you are not for you. Reevaluate those individuals in your life.

Please stay tuned...make sure you do not miss out on this ride. It gets really heavy; for although we have made a great deal of possibilities for ourselves we never had anything handed to us but life. We are making it happen...We are making our dreams real....

(that’s the name my friends have given me)

SWANKY is defined as being characterized by showy display and fashionably elegant (check)

Posh is defined as elegant and fashionable (check)

I am an Event Planner I believe that everything you do should be planned out accordingly so to answer your question yes I have a little OCD in that area.

I can turn a dinner with the girls into an extravagant party with three course meal, wine, décor, and great linens.

Everywhere go and everything I do I leave a touch of CLASS!

Secondly, I LOVE DANCE…I studied it in school and I have been doing it since the 5th grade so u can call me an arts junkie… that’s where the dance teacher/choreographer comes into play.

Last but not least my bestfriend has a magazine *wink wink* and I am the Artistic Creative Director for each photoshoot for the monthly publications…she tells me her vision for the shoot and I make it happen!

Hello Peeps! This morning has started off pretty hectic for me receiving an email from one of our international vendor's letting me know that the UPS Store sent him the wrong vendor's merchandise. GREAT! Just what I needed to jump start my day at 5am...

The Writer: Day 1

So today I feel energetic and I have a new found love for my passion and goals....Each day I try and keep it renewed but, you know, I had one hell of a week at work! No BS.....I mean God tested me in so many ways this week, and I believe that I did my best to maintain and retaliate with a profound amount of tact.

Not only do I wish to succeed at writing and music but I do long to leave a lasting impression on whomever I may face. And this is only the beginning....

I thrive on the fact that I am only 24 years old, very Witty, charming, knowledgeable and swift. I have that shock factor that has many adults giving me that 3/4 grin when I reply or when they realize the amount of knowledge I obtain, and the fact that I am willing to go above and beyond...RESEARCH....I know the facts and I fight to win.

I am always thinking about the next project and giving creative inspiration to others. I paint magic through words...Make it come to life!
